Washington DC's Oktoberfest is Here!

There are lots of reasons to love OktoberFest -- the lederhosen, the beer, the giant pretzels, and most importantly, the people. Since we are not traveling to Munich this year, experience Oktoberfest in DC with us on Saturday, September 25th. With your ticket you'll have access to unlimited beer & seltzer tastings, game areas, live entertainment, a full pour station, raffles, and much more!

DJ Pouria

DJ Pouria is one of the DMV's top DJs. Will holds residencies at some of DC's hottest and most popular night clubs. Will also plays in Atlantic City, Baltimore, Raleigh, Philadelphia, Richmond, and Miami.

Drink as if you're in Munich

We'll have a great selection of German and American beers for you to sample. Seltzers and wines will also be available.

The Bullpen is located at 1201 Half Street SE, Washington, DC 20003.

Constructed entirely of 90+ refurbished, brightly painted shipping crates, the open air setup looks like someone was playing with Legos. The Bullpen has three elongated wraparound bars, one main music stage, and space for food trucks to host its many pop-up celebrations, festivals and concerts.

DC CIRCULATOR

Union Station–Navy Yard Route via Capitol Hill. The Circulator costs only $1 and runs every 10 minutes weekdays 6am – 9pm, Saturdays from 7am – 9pm, with extended weekend and evening service for Nationals game days. 

Bus

Multiple Metro bus routes including the A42, A46, A48, P1, P2, V7, V8, V9 have stops along M Street, SE. Visit the Metrobus website here for bus route map and hours of operation.

Walk

General Ticket Questions

What comes with my ticket?

A General Admission ticket includes access to The Great Oktoberfest, unlimited beer tastings, live entertainment, free event pictures, access to game zone, a sampling cup, and more. A VIP admission ticket includes everything in the General Admission plus 1 hour-early entry into the festival and a private VIP area.

Can I get a refund if I cannot attend the event?

Tickets are not refundable, but tickets holders may transfer tickets to someone else on their own. Tickets are transferred by printing out the ticket and handing it to the person of your choice.

If I bought a General Admission ticket, can I upgrade to VIP?

Upgrades are based on availability. Email contact@projectdcevents.com and reference upgrade in the subject line. One of our customer service representatives will assist you.

Can I purchase a ticket at the day of the event?

Yes, however tickets will only be available while supplies last and subject to a price increase on the day of the event. In the case of a sellout, tickets will not be on sale.

Can someone under 21 attend?

Sorry, the event is strictly 21+. No one under 21 years of age will be admitted, no exceptions.

May I attend both sessions?

Yes, but you must purchase a ticket for each session. The festival grounds will be cleared prior to the second session, and each person will need a ticket to get back into each session.

Are group rates available?

Can I bring my dog?

Yes! We love good boys and girls.

Festival Questions

What kinds of beer are being offered?

There will be tons of different types of beer with a wide range of variety for all types of beer lovers. Many breweries will also be featuring their Fall seasonal beers. For a current list of participating breweries, click on the breweries tab.

Will there be any gluten free options?

Yes! There willl be cider, seltzers, and rose.

Can I re-enter the festival if I leave?

Unfortunately, there is a no re-entry policy.

Will there be food?

Yes, there will be plenty of food. We have hand selected some of the best local food trucks and vendors from DC and Arlington.

Day of Questions

What do I need to bring

Besides your fun self, bring your printed ticket along with a drivers license or other valid, government issued 21+ photo ID. Attendees without a ticket or ID will not be admitted to the event.

Will the event be cancelled?

Only in the most extreme conditions. The event organizers reserve the right to cancel the event in extreme conditions with no refunds. If the cancellation occurs prior to the commencement of the event, attendees will be notified of the cancellation by email.

What do I wear?

Almost everyone at Oktoberfest wears traditional Bavarian attire; the men wear lederhosen, and the ladies wear dirndls.

How do I get to the festival & Is there Public Parking?

The Bullpen is located across from the Centerfield Gate at Nationals Stadium at 1201 Half Street SE, Washington, DC 20003. Public parking is available at The Bullpen surface parking lots.
